And Now ...

A message of hope from Pope Pius 12 (1939 - 1958): "There's hope."

A message of hope from Pope John 23 (1958 - 1963): "There's hope."

A message of hope from Pope Paul 6 (1963 - 1978): "There's hope."

A message of hope from Pope John-Paul 2 (1978 - 2005): "There's hope."

A Message of hope from Pope Benedict 26: "There's hope."

Because talking about a thing is the same as doing something.

I said Great POPE-st!
Brilliant juxtaposition between the reality and the mystical wishing. How on Earth are we to summise from this litany of horrors that these prayers had one iota of impact on the events that occured.
Zilch. Nada. Squat.
If this is the a world under the care of a watchful supreme being then we are really up the creek without a paddle. The 2oth Century was the worst in recorded History for misery, sorrow, pain and death.
Great analogy.
